Crepe is created with a crinkled/twisted thread producing the textured appearance. It can be made from a variety of fibres, polyester been the most common. Crepes have a lovely drape to them, making them perfect fabrics for dresses, blouses, skirts and trousers.

Crepe de Chine – part of the crepe family, crepe de chine is a lightweight, plain woven fabric. Due to the opacity of this fabric, these are most suited for blouses, but we think when lined they make beautiful dresses and skirts.
